Choice. Decisions.

Too often, I put off making tough decisions. Or risky decisions. Every time I do I can feel my mental capacity shrinking.

Don’t wait. Make the call.

It’ll feel so much lighter. If it’s not the right choice, you have permission to change your mind.

Those things we put off—they don’t actually go away. They take up space and energy, and if you put off enough of them for long enough, they zap you from fully living life because you’re subconsciously trying to push important things out of awareness.

Why do we do this to ourselves? Heaps of reasons :: fear of rejection, fear of making a mistake, fear of not being perfect, fear of judgment, fear of missing out. Fear.

Little decisions pile up. Then big decisions feel harder. Small stuff becomes big stuff.

Say yes. Say no.

Be willing to make a mistake – it can be an opportunity to create something beautiful.

Stay flexible. Don’t flounder.

Time is precious. Use it well.

Mental energy is finite; don’t waste it.

If you’re wondering how to make the decision, my go-to question is “what deeply matters?”

Make the choice to do what deeply matters.
